Otehake Hot Springs

Grade: Moderate

A tramp of 5-6 hours of mixed terrain. The hot spring is one of the best around, nestled in a side stream close to the bush edge. Good camping right by the spring. Two large river crossings are required so good weather will be essential. 

You will need to take a tent or arrange to share one.  Due to time of year, you will need a good sleeping bag. Due to limited daylight, I would like a 7.00 am start.
