Otehake Hot Springs

Grade: Moderate 

A tramp of 5-6 hours of mixed terrain. The hot spring is one of the best around nestled in a side stream close to the bush edge. Two large river crossings are required so good weather will be essential. Good camping right by the spring.

You will need to arrange to take or share a tent and due to time of year, you will need a good sleeping bag.

Due to limited daylight, I would like a 7.00 am start.
