Flag Peak & Brasnose (Akaroa)

Grade: Moderate

We will  start from the central township and walk anticlockwise towards Aylmers Valley road. From the end of the road we will take Frank Worsley track ( steep but short) towards Mistery Peaks ( Flag peak and Brasenose)  where we would be rewarded with spectacular views.

From there we will continue on Stone Bay Rd for a couple hundred of meters before we get on a walking track again. Then, zigzag track below Stoney  Peak, transverse to Purple hills- Curry reserve, Herritage Park and exit via Woodills rd.

A long round trip in Akaroa. Estimated 17km. Moderate in regard to distance and climb with lots of easy sections.
