Carlyle Hut

Grade:  Moderate 

 Carlyle Hut is near the Hope River in the Lewis Pass. We will head up Carlyle Stream through the beech forest.

 There is a possibility of seeing yellow crowned parakeets and robins. It’s a 4 hour tramp to the hut which has 8 bunks. Return the same way.
